Hong merchants to Elphinstone. The $78,900-odd received for the tea duties due from Gnewqua and Ponqua has been disbursed accordingly. The $75,200-odd received for their long ell duties was used to pay the second instalment of Pongqua's debts, the hong merchants undertaking to discharge the long ell duties. (Dated: 8m 8d). 3 sheets.
