Hong merchants to Select Committee, enclosing an order from the Hoppo to the hong merchants and requesting action accordingly; also enclosing the governor's ruling (missing) on the Committee's recent petition; and undertaking to submit a petition to the viceroy on the Committee's behalf on the viceroy's return to Canton;
Enclosure: The pirates have been dealt with, so the taipan is to send back the cruiser which has already arrived and to stop the other cruisers
