Note (Additional information about the record)
- pp. 1-123 contain copies of papers entered into a separate book; the remaining items are original loose papers. Volumes 87-91 were presented in May 1957 by Mr. Charles A. Pelham Welby, C.V.O. They were found among the papers of his ancestor, the first Lord Welby, who had apparently withdrawn them for his study while at the Treasury and in 1946 became deposited, with the rest of the Welby Collection, with the Lincolnshire Archives Committee.
