Memorial fountain to London Troops killed in the First World War, Royal Exchange
The proposal for the memorial, from the Corporation of London, was referred to the Office of Works because of their responsibilities for the site, inherited from the Office of Woods in1851. The memorial, designed by Aston Webb, was erected in 1920.
