Warrant from the Council of State to John Milton to seize all writings and papers in the study and chambers of William Prynne in Lincoln's Inn, and bring them to the Council. [Negative Photostat presented by Mr Milton French, 10 December 1949, from Original in the possession of Miss Dorothy Margaret Stuart of 66 Gloucester Court, Kew. Cf. The New Statesman. 28 February 1931].
PLEASE NOTE: The 13 pieces (PRO 22/12-24) presumably contained in one box, were found to be missing during the rearrangement of all PRO classes in A39.
