Description

Repatriation of prisoners of war and reparation claims, including:

Outbreak of influenza on board the HMT Kursk, en route from Australia to Europe.

Transfer of money held in trust for German prisoners repatriated by the SS Willochra.

Particulars of deaths of German internees on board the HMT Kursk.

Repatriation of German subjects from:

  • Protectorate of South West Africa.
  • Jamaica.
  • South Africa and other territories under the control of the High Commissioner for South Africa. This docket includes a nominal list of repatriated enemy subjects from Rhodesia.
  • Rhodesia.
  • United Kingdom, including Ottoman Turkish prisoners.
  • Australia.
  • Eastern Colonies.

Grant of certificates by the Prisoners of War Department to British civilians repatriated from enemy countries for the purpose of identification by the Local Food Control Committees in order to access rations.
