Germany (British Civilians): Prisoners, containing:

Connection of Dr Rotten with Ruhleben, a report by Dr Eric Higgins which highlights the following issues: medical instruments and supplies, educational work, handicrafts as a means of saving young men from mental and moral destruction, incidence of 'barbed wire disease' (homosexuality) and humanity of the work of Dr Rotten (female doctor).

Parcels of food sent to British prisoners at Havelberg:

  • Reports of mal-appropriation of parcels by the Italian Victor Garsini (Garcini).
  • Refusal of the Central Committee to send reserves of food for British civilians arriving from Russia completely destitute.
