Miscellaneous (General), Prisoners, comprising:

Serbian prisoners of war in Germany, Austria, Turkey and Bulgaria, including:

  • Provision of supplies to prisoners, including blankets, cork mats, ground sheets, flour, herrings, lard, rice, beans and clothing.
  • Provision of relief by the American Red Cross.
  • Serbian Government concern regarding the condition of prisoners, and the repatriation of invalid prisoners.
  • Uniforms and boots for Serbian officer prisoners in Austria.
  • Exchange of Serbian and Austrian prisoners of war, including details of the agreements reached.
  • Financing of relief for prisoners.
  • Condition of Serbian prisoners and the civilian population in Austria, including an account by Dr Zshivko Topalovitch, a Serbian lawyer and reserve officer, of his three years in Austro-Hungarian camps.
  • Request for assistance from the Serbian Relief Fund.
  • Transfer of Serbian boys interned at Branau, Bohemia, to Denmark, and the internment of Allied prisoners of war in Denmark generally.
