Turkey: Prisoners, including:

Relief payments:

  • To Mr Francis Cowdry, manager of the salt works at Salif, and his colleagues Mr Bailey and Mr Burjoyee (Burjorji, Burgorjee, Burgoyee), all interned at Sanaa.
  • To the family of Dr E J Azzopardy in Constantinople.
  • To British-born wives and children of interned aliens and the relief of other destitute aliens.
  • To Private Willings and Sergeant Babister.
  • From The Central Agency Ltd, Glasgow, to the manager of their Beyrouth depot, Mr Jean Chitakis, a Greek national.
  • To Kyrillos Macaire, ex-Patriarch of Alexandria, at Beyrouth.
  • To Russian and Serbian prisoners on the Balkan front.

Minutes of a meeting held at the House of Lords on 16 July 1918, regarding a wider basis of exchange with Turkey, the carrying out of the Berne Agreement, and the despatch of food and clothing.
