Netherlands: Prisoners, including:

Monica Carlisle, wife of an officer interned in Holland: application to Foreign Office for permission to travel to Netherlands and take up employment with the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA); refusal of application on the grounds of her marital relationship to an interned officer.

Coal supplies for British prisoners of war in Holland:

  • Allocation of coal supply to the National Council of Young Men's Christian Associations (YMCA).
  • Application by the Dutch Railway Company to obtain restitution in kind of ten tons of coal used for transport of British prisoners.
  • Correspondence between British Legation and Brigadier General A Graham Thomson regarding supplies of coal for British prisoners in Holland.
  • Financial arrangements and invoices relating to supplies of coal to British prisoners in Holland.
  • Arrangements for supplies of coal and oil in relation to transport of British prisoners in Holland.

Correspondence regarding the administration and management of hospital care and accommodation for British prisoners in Holland, including:
