Imprisonment of British airmen for dropping propaganda leaflets, including:

  • Enquiry regarding the imprisonment of British airmen Lieutenants Scholtz and Wookey.
  • Sentences passed on airmen for dropping propaganda pamphlets.
  • Trial of British airmen Whitworth, Pruden, Everix and Conlin for treason.

Spiritual welfare of prisoners, including:

  • Permission for German clergymen to visit prisoner of war camps or conduct services in German churches in England.
  • Visits by Reverend Williams to prisoner of war camps.
  • Supply of communion vessels and hymn books for prisoners in Germany.
