Germany: Prisoners, including:

Internment of Capt Thorn and other British officers in Fort Zorndorf at Custrin (now Küstrin, West Poland); representations to the German Government.

Private R Beats, interned at Zerbst: copy of a postcard to Lady Victoria Herbert about conditions in the camp.

Letter, signed by a number of British non-commissioned officers at Mannheim Camp (names in docket no. 12232), on the withholding of parcels by the German authorities.

Mrs A Griffiths: enquiry about her brother, Sergeant S Laing at Worms, and the possibility of his transfer to Switzerland.

Observations on the conduct of the trial of Capt Bowring, Capt Grahame Toler, Capt Harrison and Capt Colin Campbell at Torgau.

Central Prisoners of War Committee: comments on the use of devices for avoiding censorship in parcels; enquiry about proposed German regulations relating to the purchase of food by British prisoners.

Mrs Camilla Picton Warlow: enquiry about the non-delivery of remittances to her husband, Petty Officer A J Picton Warlow, interned at Friedrichsfeld.
