Belgium: Prisoners, including:

Mr George G Munsey, a British subject in Brussels: messages to his daughter, Mrs F Wheeler, and to other members of his family, and receipt of messages from them via the Netherlands Legation.

Mrs David Paton, a British subject in Brussels: letters to her brother-in-law, Mr James Paton, requesting financial assistance from her late husband's employers, R and J Dick Limited.

Evacuation of L'Orphelinat de l'Ange Gardien at Bruges, including:

  • Transfer of British orphans to the Couvent des Josephines at Bruges, and death of Miss Agnes MacDonald.
  • Request to the German authorities for the children to be sent to Brussels or repatriated.
