Mr George A Gellert (or Gellart), interned at Drosendorf Camp in Lower Austria: enquiries about his claim to British nationality.

Repatriation of British and Austrian civilian prisoners, including:

  • Acceptance by the British Government of proposals by the Austro-Hungarian Government, with certain modifications.
  • Agreement on a reduction of the age limit for the repatriation of civilian prisoners.
  • Advice from the Prisoners of War Department, the War Office and the Admiralty that the proposed agreement with the Austro-Hungarian Government should be rejected.
