Financial arrangements for prisoners in Turkey, including:

  • Request for clothing for Indian prisoners interned at Konia.
  • Enquiry from the War Prisoners Fund about the supply of clothing to British prisoners in Turkey.
  • Arrangements for supplies for British prisoners to be sent from Mersina to Baghdad.
  • Notification of a meeting of the Inter-Departmental Committee on Relief Measures for Prisoners of War from Kut-el-Amara to be held on 5 October 1916; minutes of the meeting; question of the need for the committee to continue in existence.
  • Despatch of supplies for Indian prisoners in Turkey; suggestion that the ship, curently docked at Port Said, could also be used to transport supplies to British prisoners.
  • Agreement by the French Government for a neutral ship to be sent to Mersina with supplies for British prisoners; agreement for the French Government to decide on the type of vessel used and related issues.
  • Rates of relief for Cypriot prisoners in Turkey.
