Balkans: Prisoners, including:

Relief and supplies for British prisoners, including:

  • Funds, clothing, quinine and food parcels for prisoners in Bulgaria.
  • List of British military prisoners in Bulgaria (list of names, with numbers, rank and regiment, in docket no.167934).
  • Private J W Hardy, 9th Battalion, King's Own Royal Lancasters, prisoner in Bulgaria: non-receipt of parcels, letters and money.
  • Trooper H J Crowder, and Lance-Corporal Leslie Wright, both of 1st Derbyshire Yeomanry: remittances sent to them via the Fund for Parcels for Prisoners of War (The Countess of Bective and Lady Henry Bentinck).
  • Second Lieutenant H G Taylor, Bedfordshire Regiment, prisoner at Sofia, Bulgaria: remittance for him.
  • Lieutenant A A Townsend, 7th Battalion Royal Munster Fusiliers, prisoner at Stara Zagora, Bulgaria: remittance for him.
  • Icak Sarvi, of Bombay, a British subject, professor in the Jewish School at Philippopolis, interned at Rahmanli.

Arrests of consular staff and suspected agents, including:

  • Arrest of officers in charge of the Allied Legations at Sofia, Bulgaria.
  • Arrest of Turkish, Austrian, German and Bulgarian consular staff, at Salonica (Thessaloniki), Greece, and reprisals.
  • Persons arrested at Mitylene (Mytilene, Lesvos, Greece) and Chios, Greece.
