Dr Alvarez, Jurisconsult to the Chilean Foreign Office: questioned and searched at Folkestone.
Hermann Gaih, a Brazilian subject and merchant: plea to be released from detention refused as he was a German soldier of German origin.
James T Macey, an American citizen: arrest and detention at Plymouth.
Harry Brolaski, an American citizen and ex-swindler: offers services to British Consul-General, San Francisco, to spy on former associates who are spying for Germany in London.
Charles Stephenson Smith, an American correspondent of the Associated Press: arrested and incarcerated as an alien in West Hartlepool, Durham, following the German bombardment there; complains about his treatment.
