Includes: purchase and alteration of Clarendon House at Herne Bay, consequent staffing and use, local complaint; appointments and dismissals of staff (named), recruitment problems, infirmary and laundry staffing, resignation and replacement of Captain Urquhart superintendent at Sutton; accommodation difficulties; progress on Banstead Road building and costs; purchase, alteration and staffing of Witham site; Woolwich and Greenwich wish to leave District; inspectors' reports; accounts; audit reports; vaccination and medical examination of children; full time resident medical officer; corporal punishment; reports on teachers' qualifications for certificates and on industrial trainers (all named).
