Includes: staff resignations, appointments (named), salaries and retention difficulties; alterations to existing accommodation; inspectors' reports; reports on teachers' qualifications for certificates and on industrial trainers (all named); suspension and resignation of William Brownjohn, superintendent at Herne Bay; purchase of additional land and plans for separate new school at Sutton; St Olave's wish to leave District; 'qualifications' of nursing staff; children sent to other pauper schools to relieve overcrowding; use of Herne Bay by other unions; requirement for full time resident medical officer; resignation of Thomas Hales, superintendent at Sutton; possibility of purchasing Witham union workhouse [Essex].
