- From 1906 onwards the entire correspondence appears to be arranged in "Cases", the first document alone of each case determining the category under which the transaction in nominally placed. Thus the subject-divisions of the annual correspondence are ineffect illusory. A key to the classification of the cases here shown is to be found in the corresponding volumes of the Registers (F.O.274/15 et seq.), in a special column added at the left-hand edge of each page.
