Description

OVERSEAS: South Africa (Code 0(AU)): Boer War: Memorandum by Secretary of State to General Wolseley, Commander in Chief, on preparations to be made in event of outbreak of war with South African Republic. First 10,000 men for S Africa, with necessary stores, equipment and transport. Details of cavalry brigade and infantry division with estimated cost.
