E. Seymour Bell, who was appointed on 20 Mar. 1900, appears to have resided in Chicago until 1905 and in New York until 1908, and vacated his appointment on 31 Mar. 1908. FO 333/2, 5 and 6 were received, with other registers of the period, from the consulate general in New York
