Prior to 1876 these records relate to proceedings in the Home and Norfolk Circuits and include posteas from 1694 and orders etc. at nisi prius from 1790. The series also includes papers of the lords commissioners of appeal in prize causes, 1798 to 1799; and documents concerning appeal cases taken to the House of Lords, 1824 to 1855.
