Description

Tithe map of Ingleton (township in the parish of Bentham), West Riding of Yorkshire. Shows buildings (named), barns, boundary stones, woods, named physical features (hills, fells, moorland), hill-drawing, sheepfold, caves, marsh (moss), waterbodies, watering place, footpath and/or bridleway. Industrial land-use: mines, quarries (slate), tan yard, lime kiln. Colouring used. Scale: 1 inch to 8 chains; enlargement of Ingleton village at 1 inch to 4 chains [1:3168]
