Description

Tithe map of Austwick and Lawkland (township), West Riding of Yorkshire. Shows buildings (named), school, mill, gardens, field boundary ownership, sheepfold, boundary stones and rocks, plantations, woods, named hills, hill-drawing (scar), quarry (slate), waterbodies, bridges, railway, footpath and/or bridleway. Colouring used. Decorative features: scale bar on a drape surmounted by banner. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. By John Watson junior, Kendal
