Tithe map of Pickering (township in the parish of Pickering), North Riding of Yorkshire. Shows buildings, windmill, gardens (coloured), churchyard, cross, open fields, Duchy of Lancaster estates, beacon hill, woods (coloured), footpath and/or bridleway, named roads, railway with passing loop, hill-drawing, waterbodies, springs, bridges, named physical features (moorland, drains), antiquities (castle). Industrial land-use: quarry (marl), lime kilns. Decorative cartouche. Scale: 1 inch to 4 chains. By Thomas Buxton, land surveyor, Malton
