Shows buildings (named), plantations, woods (named), heath/moor, footpath and/or bridleway, waterbodies, canal with towpath, antiquities (Watling Street). Named roads; turnpike roads distinguished; toll bar and gate. Industrial land-use: quarry (gravel), walk mill, iron works. Relicts of industrial land-use: spoil heaps. Colouring used. Scale: 1 inch to 9 chains; two enlargements of built-up areas at 1 inch to 3 chains [1:2376]; index map at 1:28,512. By George Adie.
