Description

Tithe map of Portsea (parish), Hampshire (tithable parts only). Shows buildings (generalised in built-up areas), fortifications, castle, open fields, waterbodies, bridges, canal with towpath and locks. Some foreshore features depicted; high and low water marks. Colouring used. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains; two scale-bars, one for chains and one for feet. By Thomas E Owen, Portsmouth
