Description

Tithe map of Wem (parish), Shropshire. Shows buildings (named), farmyards, field boundary ownership, fences, plantations, woods, heath, hill-drawing, footpath and/or bridleway, waterbodies, mill dam, embankment, artificial drainage channels, bridges, canal with towpath, antiquities (tumulus). Industrial land-use: lime kilns. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains; index map at 1 inch to 40 chains [1:31,680] 'enlarged from the Ordnance map'. By Groom and Greening and by S Groom, Wem, Shropshire
