Description

Tithe map of St Margarets at Cliff [St Margaret's at Cliffe] (parish), Kent. Shows churchyard, sheep droves, free downs, footpath and/or bridleway, waterbodies. Some foreshore features depicted: high water mark, beach, lighthouse sites. Turnpike roads distinguished. Colouring used. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. Two compass indicators, one with 4 points, the other with 16. By George Quested, Ash; map is described as a copy, by him, of an original by him dated 1825.

With 1 altered apportionment map, dated 12 December 1891, at 1:2500. Other altered apportionment maps are located with the apportionment.
