Some foreshore features depicted: sands, low water mark ordinary and spring tides. Colouring used. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains; construction line diagram at 1 inch to 30 chains [1:23,760]. First class map. Construction lines shown. By Thomas Thurston, Ashford. There are long notes on Shepway Cross and the wreck of a Dutch warship.
