Description

Tithe map of Godmersham (parish), Kent. Shows buildings (named), vicarage, tower, temple, parkland, woods (coloured), hop grounds, waterbodies. Scale: 1 inch to 6 chains. Surveyed by James Gouge of Sittingbourne in 1815, with 'Alterations' by Thomas Thurston, Ashford.

With 2 altered apportionment maps. 1] Dated March 1851, at 1 inch to 6 chains, showing Ashford and Canterbury Railway. 2] Dated 30 June 1915, showing Ashford Canterbury and Ramsgate Branch Railway and Godmersham Park. Other altered apportionment maps are located with the apportionment.
