Description

Tithe map of Cowling or Cooling (parish), Kent. Shows buildings, boundary trees and stones, woods, footpath and/or bridleway, waterbodies, drainage ditches with ownership. Colouring used. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. First class map. Construction lines shown. By Samuel Elliott.

With 2 altered apportionment maps. 1] Dated 6 April 1883, at 1 inch to 3 chains. 2] Dated 19 August 1914; Ordnance Survey map Kent sheets XI.3, XI.7, showing remains of Cooling Castle and the Hundred of Hoo Branch Railway.
