Shows buildings (named), rectory, workhouse, mill, windmill, field boundary ownership, boundary trees, fences, field gates, woods (named, coloured), hop grounds, footpath and/or bridleway, waterbodies, drain, bridge (named). Turnpike roads distinguished; toll gates. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. First class map. Construction lines shown; construction line diagram. Surveyed mainly by Thomas Thurston, Ashford, (part surveyed by Thurston in 1821) with work by G T Cloutt, John Arnott and 'Mr Thomson of Tenterden'. Notes on paper contraction, and how acreages were compensated accordingly.
