Shows township boundaries, buildings (named), National School, Union workhouse, railways with stations, market place, footpath and/or bridleway, haha, plantations, woods, waterbodies, rock outcrops. Named roads; turnpike roads distinguished; toll bar. Industrial land-use: quarry, zinc works, lime kilns, mills, tile works, gas works, brewery. Relicts of industrial land-use: old brewery. Colouring used. Compass roses with fleur-de-lys. Scale: 1 inch to 10 chains; 8 inches to 1 mile; 62 enlargements of detail at 1 inch to 1 chain and 2 chains. By William Salkeld
