Description

Tithe map of Barnton (township in the parish of Great Budworth), Cheshire. Shows buildings (named), Methodist chapel, open fields, field gates, footpath and/or bridleway, quarries, woods, orchards, waterbodies, canal, weir. Named roads; turnpike roads distinguished. Industrial land-use: rope walk, salt works. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. First class map. Note on map that it was copied by Henry White, Warrington from the original (first class) plan made by John Beckett for Henry White
