Returned oyer and terminer commission, Derbyshire, held by Thomas Fulthorpe, William Ayscough and associates at Derby on 5 Sept 1440 under commission dated 10 July 1440 (Cal.Patent Rolls 1436-41, 450) for all murders, felonies, trespasses and other misdeeds generally specified; file of writs and precepts. The equivalent file for Nottinghamshire under a commission to the same justices of the same date, is in KB 9/954; neither of the indictments files has been found.
