Returned oyer and terminer commission, held at Southwark on 16-19 Feb 1518 by William Blount of Mountjoy, John Fyneux and associates, under commission dated 6 Feb 1518 for diverse treasons, etc in Surrey (not in Letters and Papers of Henry VIII) returned into King's Bench on the quinzaine of St John (8 July) 1518 Trinity: file and roll; commission, m 16; panels, precepts and inquests, mm 4-15; enrolment, mm 1-3. Trial for treason of John Cowley late of London and of Henry Spencer, John Henne, John Johnson alias Brooke, Nicholas Stevynson and Edward Yong, all late of Southwark.
