Membranes 1-27 are a returned oyer and terminer commission, held at Thetford on 31 July 1441 by John Fray and associates, under commission dated 30 June 1441 (CPR 1436-1441, 574) concerning trespasses, etc in Norfolk; returned oyer and terminer commission, held at same date and place by the same, under commission dated 30 June 1441 (ibid), to correct defects of good governance in the city of Norwich, mm 98-103.
