Returner oyer and terminer commission, Hertfordshire, held by Henry Bourgchier, earl of Essex, Thomas Bittyng and associates at Barnet on 11-12 May and 20 Nov 1472, under commission dated 28 Apr 1472 for all treasons, etc in Hertfordshire (CPR 1467-77, 353): roll and file, treasons of Henry Holand duke of Exeter, John Neville (Nevyle) Marquis Montague, Richard Neville, earl of Warwick, John de Vere, earl of Oxford and many others, at Coventry on 6 Mar and at the Battle of Barnet on 14 Apr 1471 [delivered into King's Bench about 20 June 1473].
