These include records of the North Eastern region and consist mainly of photographs of railway depots and installations, rolling stock, stations, track, work in progress, etc. There is also some correspondence concerning the construction and withdrawal of locomotives, 1952 and 1963, and a statistical table, compiled in 1953 of ages and types of bridges in the North Eastern region together with maps of civil engineer's districts.
