Reminiscences of JES Cooper, head of Air Section at GCCS 1936-1946: personal notes on GCCS 1925-1939; Air Section and the approach to war, 1935-1939; friction between head of Air Section and Air Ministry Sigint officers, 1936-1939, with covering note from Cooper to Frank Birch, presumably as input to Birch's history of GCCS at BP; exchanges between Cooper and Air Ministry, 1938-1939; initial manuscript notes by Cooper on Air Section during first few months of war; Cooper's comments on General Bertrand's book Enigma, published in Paris in 1973
