Captured ship: La Tonne de Victoire of Port Louis, France (master Joseph Toucas).
History: a French ship (flyboat, 200 tons), bound from Martinique to La Rochelle, laden with sugar, indigo, coconuts, cotton, and lignue vitae; taken on 26 January / 5 February 1695 off Ushant by HMS Anglesea (William Collwell commanding), and brought into Plymouth.
