Captured ship: Two Sisters or Deux Soeurs of Tremblade (master Pierre Richard).
History: a French ship (30 tons), bound from Brest to Dunkirk, laden with salt; after sailing under convoy with 'two hundred sail' of ships, they were hit with bad weather and sprung a leak so severe that the bore for Gurnsey to save their lives, arriving at the island on 29 November / 9 December 1695 where the ship was seized.
