Description

Folios 263-264: Thomas Maude, great George Street. Is sending a Commission given by Admiral James Richard Dacres, Commander-in-Chief at Jamaica, appointing Lieutenant William Furlong Wise Commander of HMS Drake in the room of Captain William Hamilton Drury, deceased. Asks the Admiralty to confirm the appointment.

Folio 265: enclosure in folios 263-264. Printed Commission given by Admiral James Richard Dacres, Rear Admiral of the Red, Commander-in-Chief, Jamaica, on board HMS Hercule, Port Royal, Jamaica 1st November 1805. Appointing William Furlong Wise Commander of HMS Drake in the place of Captain William Hamilton Drury, deceased.
