Folios 240-241: Robert Williams HMS Alert, Sheerness. Concerning the sickness of his Officers. Senior Lieutenant Samuel Knight nearly died some time ago and, whilst now recovering well is unable to serve. 2nd Lieutenant Edward White was sent sick ashore at North Yarmouth and is a deep decline. Asks for a Lieutenant to be appointed to assist him.
