Folios 369-370: Thomas Walbeoff, [Regulating Captain], Poole. Has received no reply to his letter of 25 March 1805 saying that the Navy Board was refusing to reimburse him for the increased reward offered in the King's proclamation of 6 February 1805 for finding Able and Ordinary Seamen, which he had already paid to three men of the press gang. He tries to benefit His Majesty's service at the lowest expense, but he cannot afford the loss of four pounds 10 shillings which he paid out thinking that he was following His Majesty's instructions and hopes the Admiralty will not allow him to lose the money.
