Folios 218-219: Daniel Woodriff, HMS Calcutta. Reports that there are 13 reduced soldiers, one woman and their children belonging to the New South Wales Corps, and also a Frenchman, (Francis Durcuaulty) sent to New South Wales in 1800 to assist in cultivating the vine, which was received on board HMS Calcutta by request of his Excellency Governor King for a passage to England. Asks how is he to dispose of them.
