Folio 306: James Athol Wood, HMS Acasta, off Black Rocks. Responding to questions about Thomas Thompson. He is not suitable to be appointed as Carpenter in the Store, having beeen convicted of theft.
Folio 307: enclosure with folio 306. William Marsden, Admiralty Office, 18 May 1804, to Captain Wood, HMS Acasta, off Brest. Sends an application from Thomas Thompson, Carpenter's Mate, HMS Acasta, and requests a report on his character.
