Folios 304-305: James Athol Wood, HMS Acasta, Plymouth. Requests supply of four 18-pounder guns instead of 9-pounders for the quarter deck and forecastle. It is inconvenient to have shot and cartridges of different sizes. HMS Acasta has only 12 guns in the quarterdeck, whereas smaller frigates have 14. The necessary guns are in store at Plymouth.
